uPresenter Updates Bring New Review Mode, Equation Support & Design Upgrades

uPresenter Update Highlights

We're excited to introduce a series of powerful new features and enhancements in uPresenter, all aimed at elevating both the learner experience and content creation process. These updates bring greater interactivity, flexibility, and visual impact to your presentations. Highlights include:

• Redesigned player: Improve controls, autoplay timing, submit/review buttons integrated into the player.

• Review mode: Learners can view their answers, correct/incorrect responses, scores after submission and learning progress.

• Math Equation support: Insert math expressions into text boxes, shapes, and quiz content with ease.

• Text Stroke effect: Add customizable outlines to text for better readability and visual impact.

• Slide background image: Set background images for individual slides to enhance presentation design.

• Image Fill in question items: Add images directly into quiz questions using Card mode for better engagement.

Redesigned Player Interface 

The new uPresenter player isn’t just about looks. It’s built for smarter learning interaction.
You can pause the lecture at any point, allowing learners to take a break or reflect before moving on. Each slide can also be set with custom slide duration among 1-3-5 seconds, enabling automatic playback for smoother delivery.

The Submit button for questions has been now moved directly into the player, giving a cleaner layout and more intuitive interaction. And for added flexibility, the new Review button will appear only if enabled in the settings, so learners can control how their performances are. 

Brand-New Review Mode

The newly added Review mode gives learners a clear, interactive way to reflect on their performance after completing a lesson. To allow the Review mode, you should select the Display user reviews on presentation page checkbox in the Scores section in the left pane of the working window. 

When enabled, clicking on the Review button in the player will open the Review page.

As a complete AI presentation and quiz generator, uPresenter offers the Review page to give learners a comprehensive overview of their performance after completing a lesson. It displays the lesson title, completion status, quiz result (pass or fail), total score, and the required passing score. 

A slide navigation bar at the top allows learners to jump between slides, with clear icons indicating which slides were viewed, which questions were answered correctly or incorrectly, and which slides contain quiz questions. You can also navigate the lesson through the Prev and Next button at the bottom. When a submitted question slide is selected, learners can preview the full question and their right or wrong answers. This feature helps learners reflect on their performance, identify mistakes, and strengthen their understanding of the lesson content.

Math Equation Support

One of the exciting new features in uPresenter is Math Equation support across various text-based elements such as text boxes, shapes, buttons and question content. This means educators and content creators can now easily insert mathematical expressions directly into slides or quizzes using a virtual equation keyboard or by selecting from ready-made equation templates.

Whether you're showcasing formulas during a lesson, inserting equations into quiz questions, or adding math annotations inside shapes, uPresenter ensures a smooth and consistent visual experience. This functionality is particularly useful for subjects like mathematics or technical training, where clear and accurate equation formatting is essential for helping learners understand complex ideas more effectively.

Text Stroke Style

Enhance the impact of your text with uPresenter’s new customizable Text Stroke (outline) effect. This feature allows you to add an outline around your text, enhancing readability and creating strong visual contrast, especially useful when placing text over complex backgrounds or images. You can freely adjust the stroke color and thickness to match your design style.

Image Fill for Slide Background & Question Items

Bring your content to life with the new Image Fill feature in this online free presentation builder. You can now personalize each slide by uploading custom background images, adding visual appeal and thematic context to your lessons. 

Additionally, you can embed images directly into question items, filling designated placeholders to make your quizzes more engaging, interactive, and easier to understand. To do that, select the answer area or a question item then change its Display Style in the top toolbar to Card mode. Once in Card mode, each option becomes a card that can include both text and images, offering a more visually rich and intuitive experience for learners.
